Less Physical Activity Leads to More Spinal Disc Degeneration

Move it or lose it!  A recent long-term study published in The Spine Journal found that less physical activity over a time period of 14 years correlated with an increase of disc degeneration of the thoracic and lumbar spine. The researchers followed 385 individuals, and the results found were after adjustments for age, sex, BMI, hypertension and diabetes mellitus.
